He was in a dark room at that time. In which there was no name or sign of Roshni far away. He could only hear a light voice from a corner.
As if someone was calling him for help. Slowly the voice was getting louder and then louder and now it turned into screams. In which there was an end of pain, he had moved his steps towards where the sound was coming from.
But when he felt that he was near, the sound started coming from the other side. He ran to the other side but there was nothing there either. He did not understand what to do.
How to help, but nothing was explaining in this dark room. Now that voice was echoing in the room. But he put both his hands on his ears to avoid these screams.
Then all of a sudden there was silence there. As if nothing had happened some time ago. Then he saw a white light on one side and a face was seen in that light. Which he could recognize in millions. As soon as he moved his steps towards it, that light gradually disappeared and that face also disappeared somewhere in the darkness.
But then suddenly the whole scene changed. Now he was in a big hall, in the middle of which there was a cot. A being wrapped in a shroud was lying on this bed. Around which hundreds of people were crying while standing and others sitting.

He moved forward and made his way very close to the cot. But he could not see the face of the creature because it was covered with a cloth.
Then someone had removed the cloth from his face. He had looked at that beautiful face which had then countless wounds. As if he had been tortured a lot. That face belonged to his mother.
That body wrapped in a shroud was none other than his mother’s.
He had woken up with a shock, despite the AC being full of cooling, his whole body was drenched in sweat.
He picked up a glass of water from the side table and then put it to his lips, and finished it in one breath.
This was not the first dream. Such dreams came to him since childhood. But despite trying hard, he could not find out the reason behind these dreams.
What was the reason behind these dreams, only time was going to tell. Secrets buried in the past on which time had settled its dust. When they were to be opened layer by layer, a storm was going to arise in their easy going life. Who had to take everything away with him.

وہ اس وقت سیاہ اندھیری کوٹھڑی نما کمرے میں موجود تھا ۔۔۔ جس میں روشنی کا کہیں دور دور تک کوئی نام و نشان نہیں تھا ۔۔۔وہاں بس اسے ایک کونے سے ہلکی سی آواز سنائی دے رہی تھی ۔۔۔
جیسے کوئی اسے مدد کیلئے پکار رہا ہو ۔۔۔آہستہ آہستہ وہ آواز تیز ہوتی جا رہی تھی ۔۔اور تیز ہوتے ہوتے اب چیخوں میں تبدیل ہو گئی تھی ۔۔ جن میں درد کی انتہا تھی ،،، اس نے اپنے قدم اس طرف بڑھائے تھے ۔۔جہاں سے آواز آ رہی تھی ۔۔۔
لیکن جب اسے لگا کہ وہ قریب پہنچ گیا ہے تو آواز دوسرے طرف سے آنی شروع ہو گئی ۔۔۔اس نے دوسری طرف دوڑ لگائی لیکن وہاں بھی کچھ نہیں تھا ۔۔ اسے سمجھ نہیں آ رہا تھا کہ وہ کیا کرے ۔۔۔
کیسے مدد کرے ،،، لیکن اس اندھیرے کمرے میں کچھ بھی سجھائی نہیں دے رہا تھا ۔۔۔اب وہ آواز کمرے میں چاروں طرف سے گونج رہی تھی ۔۔۔ اس نے ان چیخوں سے بچنے کیلئے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ کانوں پر رکھ لیے ۔۔۔
پھر اچانک وہاں ایکدم سے سکوت چھا گیا ۔۔جیسے کچھ دیر پہلے کچھ ہوا ہی نا ہو ۔۔پھر ایک طرف اسے سفید روشنی دکھائی دی اور اس روشنی میں ایک چہرہ نظر آیا تھا ۔۔۔ جسے وہ لاکھوں میں بھی پہچان سکتا تھا ۔۔۔جیسے ہی اس نے اپنے قدم اس طرف بڑھائے ۔۔وہ روشنی آہستہ آہستہ پیچھے ہوتی ختم ہوگئی اور وہ چہرہ بھی اندھیرے میں کہیں گم ہو گیا ۔۔۔
لیکن پھر اچانک سے سارا منظر بدل گیا ۔۔۔ اب وہ ایک بڑے سے ہال میں موجود تھا ۔۔۔جس کے بالکل درمیان میں ایک چارپائی پڑی تھی ۔۔۔ اس چارپائی پر کفن میں لپٹا ایک وجود پڑا تھا ۔۔۔ جس کے ارد گرد سینکڑوں لوگ کچھ کھڑے اور کچھ بیٹھے ہوئے رو رہے تھے ۔۔۔

وہ آگے بڑھا اور راستہ بناتے ہوئے بالکل اس چارپائی کے قریب آ گیا ۔۔۔لیکن اس وجود کا چہرہ نا دیکھ سکا کیونکہ اسے کپڑے سے ڈھکا گیا تھا ۔۔۔
پھر کسی نے اس کے چہرے سے کپڑا ہٹایا تھا ۔۔۔اس نے اس خوبصورت چہرے کی طرف دیکھا تھا جس پر لاتعداد زخموں کے نشان تھے ۔۔۔ جیسے اس پر بہت زیادہ تشدد کیا گیا ہو ۔۔۔۔وہ چہرہ اسکی ماں کا تھا ۔۔۔
وہ کفن میں لپٹی لا*ش کسی اور کی نہیں بلکہ اسکی ماں کی تھی ۔۔۔
وہ ایک جھٹکے سے بیدار ہوا تھا اے سی کی کولنگ فل ہونے کے باوجود اس کا پورا جسم پسینے سے شرابور تھا ۔۔۔
اس نے سائڈ ٹیبل سے پانی کا گلاس اٹھا کر لبوں سے لگایا ،، اور ایک سانس میں ہی ختم کر گیا ۔۔
یہ کوئی پہلا خواب نہیں تھا ۔۔۔ایسے خواب اسے بچپن سے ہی آتے تھے ۔۔۔لیکن بہت کوشش کرنے کے باوجود بھی وہ ان خوابوں کے پیچھے کیا وجہ ہے نہیں جان پایا تھا ۔۔۔
ان خوابوں کے پیچھے کیا وجہ تھی وہ تو وقت ہی بتانے والا تھا ۔۔۔ماضی میں دفن راز جن پر وقت نے اپنی دھول جمادی تھی ۔۔۔جب پرت در پرت کھلنے تھے تو انکی سہل چل رہی زندگی میں ایک طوفان برپا ہونا تھا ۔۔۔جس نے اپنے ساتھ سب کچھ بہا لے جانا تھا ۔۔۔۔
