وہ خود سے بول رہی تھی جب کمرے سے نور کی دھیمی آواز آئی ۔ ” مما دیڈی” حرم نے منہ بنا کہ لب بھینچے ۔
” بول تو ایسے رہی ہے جیسے کوئی چیز چاہئیے ہو ۔ مما ڈیڈی ۔ ” اس نے چڑ کے نور کی نقل اتاری تھی پھر ایک بار پھر زور سے دروازہ دھڑ دھڑ کر ڈالا ۔
” بدر نور بلا رہی ہے ” اور آخر کار اس نے بول ہی ڈالا ۔ وہ بے چینی سے آگے تو کبھی پیچھے اپنے کمرے کی جانب دیکھتی کہ کہیں نور باہر چلتی نہ آجائے ۔
تب ہی دروازہ کھلا ۔ حرم جو پیچھے دیکھ رہی تھی ایک پل کے لئے جم گئی ۔
‘ افف کتنا آکورڈ لگ رہا ہے ۔ پہلے کمرے سے نکالا اور اب بلا رہی ہوں ۔ لیکن کوئی نہیں نور کے لئے کچھ بھی ۔ ‘
وہ سانس چھوڑتی ہوئی اسکی جانب مڑی اور نظریں چوکھٹ پر کرلیں ۔ وہ اسے دیکھ نہ رہی تھی نظریں ادھر اُدھر بہک رہی تھیں ۔

” آہ ! وہ ۔ نور رونے لگی تھی اچانک اٹھ کر ۔ اور تمہیں بلا رہی ہے ۔ تو تھوڑی دیر کے لئے تم چل لو ۔۔۔” حرم بول کر فوراً مڑ گئی ۔ پیچھے سے دروازہ بند کرنے کی آواز اور پھر چلنے کی چاپ محسوس ہونےلگی ۔
کچھ عجیب تھا اس پورے منظر میں جو اس نے محسوس کیا ۔ مگر کیا ؟ کیا تھا جو غیر ضروری تھا اس پورے منظر میں ۔
وہ کمرے میں آئی تو نور نے اس کے پیچھے نظروں سے ٹٹولا پھر وہ مسکرانے لگی ۔ مطلب وہ پیچھے ہی کھڑا تھا ۔ حرم پیچھے مڑے بغیر پھرتی سے باتھ روم میں گھس گئی ۔
بدر نے مسکرا کر نور کو دیکھا پھر بالکل کل کی طرح ہی اسے سینے پر لٹا کر سلانے لگا ۔ نور نے ہمیشہ کی طرح اپنے ننھے ہاتھوں سے اسکے چہرے کو چھوا لیکن پھر وہ چونک کہ سر اٹھائے بدر کو دیکھنے لگی ۔
” سو جاؤ نور ڈیڈی یہیں ہیں . ” اس نے حد درجہ دھیمی اور نڈھال آواز میں کہا ۔ نور نے آنکھیں پٹپٹائیں اور ایک بار پھر اپنے ڈیڈی بی کے چہرے کو چھوا ۔
” کا وا ڈیدی ؟ ( کیا ہوا ڈیڈی ؟ ) ” بدر نے بامشکل مسکرا کر گردن نفی میں ہلائی اور اسکا سر واپس نیچے اپنے سینے پر رکھتا اسکے بال سہلانے لگا ۔
” سو جاؤ بی کی جان ۔ سوجاؤ! “
