وہ حتمی بولا۔
” زینب میں کیا برائی ہے۔ ”
حورین نے غصے کو دباتے پوچھا۔
” بڑی لمبی فہرست ہے چھوڑیں۔۔
ویسے بھی وہ مجھ سے بہت چھوٹی ہے وہ اور دوسری بات ہمارے نیچر بھی بہت الگ ہیں ۔”
مضبوط دلیل دی۔
” لیکن میں یہ سارے اعتراضات رد کرتا ہوں۔ میری وین بھی مجھ سے عمر میں کافی چھوٹی ہے پر دیکھو مجھ سے دس سال بڑی لگتی ہے۔
صبیح نے چور نظروں سے ایک نظر حورین کو دیکھا جس کے ماتھے پر بل پڑے تھے۔
اور پھر زینب تو تم سے چند سال چھوٹی ہے۔
دوسری بات کے شادی اس سے ہی کی جاتی ہے جس کے مزاج آپس میں مترادف ہوں جیسے میرا اور تمہاری ماں کا ہے۔
میں ایک شوخ طبیعت ہنسنے بولنے والا انسان اور تمہاری ماں بوڑھی روح۔
اگر میں بھی تمہاری ماں جیسا ہوتا تو یہ گھر گھر نہیں لگتا۔ ”
صبیح نے پھر حورین کو چھیڑا۔

” ماما آپ سن رہی ہیں بابا بار بار آپ پر طنز کررہے ہیں۔ ”
یحییٰ نے حورین کا رخ صبیح کی طرف کرنا چاہا۔
” اسکی باتوں میں مت آنا وین یہ تمہیں ہمارے مقصد سے گمراہ کرکے موضوع سے ہٹا رہا ہے۔۔ ”
صبیح نے بہت چالاکی سے بات موڑی ۔۔
” کوئی ٹھوس وجہ ہے منع کرنے کی؟”
حورین نے دوٹوک پوچھا۔
یحییٰ نے گہری سانس لی۔
” دیکھو یحییٰ میں اپنے گھر میں رونق چاہتی ہوں ۔زینب کے پیدا ہوتے ہی میں نے سوچ لیا تھا کہ زینب میرے گھر آئیگی۔
میں اپنے گھر میں رونق چاہتی ہوں اور صرف زینب کی صورت میں۔ ”
حورین نے فیصلہ سنایا۔
” ٹھیک ہے پھر میں اسکی ساری حرکتیں جاکر اسکے ماں باپ کو بتادیتا ہوں پھر مجھے یقین ہے جو اسکی حرکتیں ہیں اسکے بعد انکل آنٹی دھکے دے کر اسے گھر سے نکال دینگے پھر آپ اسے لے آئیے کا اور اپنے گھر کی رونق بنا لیجیے گا۔
اسکے لیے مجھے اپنی قربانی دینے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے”۔
