اپنے ہینڈ بیگ کو دوسری چیئر پہ پھینکتی وہ اپنے ماں کی مقابل کی کرسی گھسیٹتی ہوئی بیٹھی تھی، جسے ابھی ابھی شاکرہ نے چائے دیا تھا۔
“میں نے سنا ہے مما کہ پھر کوئی نئی کیئر ٹیکر آئی ہیں؟”
آہینہ استہزاء انداز میں کہتی پوچھ رہیں تھیں
“تمہیں اس سے کوئی فرق پڑھتا ہے؟، کتنی مرتبہ کہاں ہے کہ بچی کے قریب ہونے کی کوشش کرو، مگر تمہیں تو باہر گھومنے اور سونے سے فرصت ملے تو تب ہی میری بات پر دھیان دو گی نا، تمہاری اسی لچھن کی وجہ سے تمہیں طلاق ملی ہیں مگر مجال ہیں جو پھر بھی تم ذرا سا بھی سدھری ہو، اس وقت روتی بیٹھنا جب کوئی اور فتح کو لے اڑے گا”
فردوس بیگم نے جھلس کر کہا تھا
“آپ اتنا پریشان نا ہو ، میرے ہوتے ہوئے کوئی اسے نہیں لے کر اڑ سکتا، پھر یہ دو دن بھی نا ٹکنے والی ملازماوں کی کیا اوقات ہے”
شاکرہ کے بڑھے ہاتھ سے کپ تھامتی حقارت سے بولی تھی،
جس پر شاکرہ کا چہرہ زرد ہوا تھا۔
اور تبھی وہاں وہ آئی تھی، اپنے لمبے کھلے بالوں کو فولڈ کرکے میسی جوڑے میں جکڑتی ، وہ سنک میں ہاتھ دھونے کے بعد کاونٹر کی جانب بڑھی تھی

“اوہ۔۔یہ کون ہے مما؟، کتنی خوبصورت ہے”
منہ کھلا کرکے مہبوت ہوکر دیکھنے کے بعد آہینہ نے اپنی ماں کی جانب جھکتے ہوئے دھیمے لہجے میں پوچھا تھا
“یہی تو ہے وہ کمبخت کیئر ٹیکر”
“اوہ۔۔”
سن کر آہینہ کا چہرہ ایک لمحے کے لئے فق ہوا تھا، نجانے کیوں اس مرتبہ اسے سخت کامپیٹیشن کا احساس ہوا تھا
“ملازمہ ہی تو ہیں، اس کی اقات بتاکر دو دن میں ہی نکال باہر کریں گے”
اگلے ہی پل آہینہ جیسے خود کو ڈھارس دیتی ہوئی حقارت ذدہ سی بڑبڑاتے ہوئے اسے دیکھ رہی تھی،
جو ان کی جانب دھیان دیئے بغیر منہمک سا نوڈلز بنارہی تھی
اور ساتھ ہی آہینہ نے چائے کے کپ کو اٹھا کر لبوں سے لگایا تھا ،
مگر اگلے کپ کو اس نے فرش پر دے پٹخا تھا
“تمہیں کتنی مرتبہ بتانا پڑھے گا کہ چائے گرم دیا کرو “
آہینہ کے کپ فرش پر پٹختے ہوئے غرانے پر رات کے کھانے کی تیاری کرتی شاکرہ نے سہم کر آہینہ کو دیکھا تھا
“۔۔گگ۔۔ گرم ۔۔ ہی تو تھا۔۔”
شاکرہ خوف سے ہکلاتی بولی تھی،
