“شٹ اپ،! جو کہا ہے اس پر عمل کرو۔” معیز کا غصہ اُسی وقت عود آیا۔
“ہاں یہی بس یہی خرابی ہے تم میں غصہ تو ہاتھ میں لئے پھرتے ہو جہاں مجھے دیکھا نہیں وہیں منہ پر مار دیا۔” مروا نے خفگی سے انگلی اٹھا کر کہا۔
“اوکے سوری آپ بیٹھ جائیں۔” معیز نے گاڑی کا دروازہ کھول کر نہایت تمیز سے کہا۔
“مجھے آپ کے احسان کی ضرورت نہیں۔” مروا نے بھی اسی لہجے میں کہا۔
“کتنا اچھا لگتا ہے تمہارے منہ سے میرے لئے لفظ آپ؟” معیز نے کی آنکھوں میں عجیب سی چمک در آئی اور عجیب خمار آلودہ آواز میں معیز نے حسرت و یاسیت سے کہا۔ مروا معیز کے اس لہجے اور نظروں سے پزل ہو کر خائف ہونے لگی۔
“مجھے چھوڑ آئیں مجھے دیر ہو رہی ہے۔” مروا نے جانے کس جون میں معیز سے پہلی بار عزت سے بات کی جس کا وہ حق دار تھا۔
بہت دن بعد وہ کھل کر مسکرایا ورنہ تو عجیب کھویا کھویا جانے کونسے مقبرے قائم کرتا رہتا۔

“آپ کو مجھ پر اعتبار نہیں ہے ناں؟” مروا نے پوچھا۔
“کتنا میٹھا لگتا ہے اپنی وائف کے منہ سے آپ سننا تم سوچ بھی نہیں سکتی دل چاہتا ہے دل وار کر تمہارے سامنے رکھ دوں۔” معیز نے محبت سے کہا۔
“آپ نے مجھے معاف کردیا؟” مروا نے حیرانگی و بے یقینی سے پوچھا۔
“کس لئے؟” معیز بھی حیران ہوا۔
“وہ جو بچپن میں۔” مروا اٹکی۔
“جس بات میں تمہارا قصور نہیں تمہیں لگا میں تمہیں اس بات کی سزا دوں گا اتنا کم طرف سمجھا ہے تم نے میری محبت کو؟” معیز کے لہجے میں شکوہ تھا۔
“اور حرا؟” مروا نے جانے کس ڈر سے پوچھا۔
“جہنم میں جھونک دو اُسے، بھول جاو میرے سب افیئرز اور غلطیاں مجھے احساس ہو چکا ہے ہم لڑکے اپنے انجوائمنٹ کے لئے کتنی زندگیاں برباد کرتے ہیں میں اللہ سے توبہ کر چکا ہوں اور تم سے بھی معافی مانگنا ہوں۔ اب ہمیں ساتھ رہنا ہے کل رات میں نے خواب دیکھا تھا اسے سچ کرنا ہے۔ اب صرف تم میں اور۔۔۔۔” معیز نے گاڑی روکتے زبان کو بھی بریک لگائی۔
“اور؟۔۔” مروا نے خوف سے پوچھا کوئی اور اب بھی تھا۔
“اور ہماری پیاری بیٹی۔” معیز مروا کے ہاتھ تھام کر یقین دلایا۔
