“تم کہاں جارہے ہو؟۔ اس کو بالکل تیار دیکھ کر وہاج نے گلاسِز لگاۓ تھے۔
“کہیں تم میرے ساتھ تو نہیں آنے والے نا؟۔ وہاج کی بات پر ولی نے وہاج کو ایسے دیکھا جیسے کوئی مالک غرور سے اپنے غلام کی جانب دیکھتا ہو۔
” میرے پاس ایک عدد اپنی گاڑی ہے”۔ اس کی بات پر وہاج خان شاید پہلی مرتبہ یوں دن کے اجالے میں مسکرا اُٹھا تھا۔
“ایک مرتبہ اپنی ایک عدد گاڑی پر نظرِ کرم بھی ڈال لو”۔ اس کی بات پر ولی نے حیرانی سے گاڑی کی جانب دیکھاجس کے چاروں ٹائرز کی ہوا نکال لی گئی تھی۔ ولی کی شکل رونے والی ہوچکی تھی۔ اس نے وہاج کو دیکھا جو غائب ہوگیا تھا یعنی کے اس کی امید کا آخری دیا بھی بُجھنے والا تھا۔
“دیکھو وہاج خان تمہیں میری لاش پر سے گزر کر جانا ہوگا”۔ اس کی بات پر وہاج نے سخت نظروں سے ولی کو گھورا تھا۔ وہ دونوں ہاتھ ہوا میں بلند کیے وہاج کی گاڑی کے آگے کھڑا لفٹ مانگ رہا تھا۔ کوئی نا کہہ سکتا تھا کہ ولی خان اذان خان جیسی بارعب شخصیت کی نسل سے ہیں۔

“کہاں اُترنا ہے تمہیں؟۔ سوال کرتے اسکی نظریں روڈ پر تھیں۔
“جہاں تک آپ کا ساتھ ہے جان بس وہاں تک چلنا ہے”۔ اس کی بات پر وہاج نے نفی میں سر ہِلایا تھا۔
“فاطمہ کو کیا ہوا ہے ولی؟۔ وہ کیوں خاموش رہنے لگی ہیں؟۔ وہاج خان کے سوال پر وہاج کی آنکھوں میں سنجیدگی آئی تھی۔
“وہ پچلے دس سالوں سے خاموش ہے وہاج”۔ ولی نے جیسے وہاج کو اطلاع دی تھی۔
” اس سب کی وجہ؟۔وہ ایک بار پھر سے وہ سوال اس نے ایسے شخص سے کِیا تھا جس کے پاس کوئی جواب نا تھا۔
“پتا لگاؤ ولی خان کہ ایسا کیا ہے جو ہماری فاطمہ کو اس قدر ڈسٹرب کر رہا ہے؟۔ کیونکہ تم جانتے ہو کہ میں پتا لگوانے پر آیا تو بہت سے اپنوں کا نام سرفہرست لکھوں گا”۔ اس کی بات پر ولی نے وہاج کو دیکھا تھا جو ہمیشہ سے اپنوں کے معاملے میں ایسا ہی رہا تھا۔
” اب تمہیں کیا ہوگیا؟۔ پانچ منٹ ولی خاموش رہا تو وہاج سے برداشت نا ہوا۔
“کالی بلی راستہ کاٹ گئی ہے”۔ ولی کی سنجیدہ آواز گونجی تھی۔
“تو؟۔ اور وہاج خان تو کچھ سمجھ ہی نا سکا۔
“تو یہ کہ ناجانے اب بے۔چاری کے ساتھ کیا ہوگا؟۔ افسردگی سے کہنے پر ایک بار پھر سے ولی وہاج کی مسکراہٹ کا سبب بنا تھا اور تھوڑا دور جاتے ہی اچانک ولی اور وہاج کی نظروں کے سامنے بلی مردہ حالت میں نظر آئی تھی جس کو دیکھ کر وہاج تو کچھ نا کہہ سکا جبکہ ولی خان اپنی کالی زبان اور کالی نظر کو سوچ کر رہ گیا۔
