Virat Kohli Says India Is Not Brave Enough To Defeat New Zealand

India captain Virat Kohli says on Sunday that his team wasn’t brave enough with the bat, ball, and body language when they faced eight wickets at New Zealand’s hands, putting the team in danger of getting out of the stage. In groups of the T20 World Championship.

India crashed in an eight-wicket defeat to a New Zealand clinical team that beat opponents in every department of the game, exactly seven days after the 10 wickets that beat Pakistan’s Men in Blue.

Post-match Presentation Ceremony Virat Kohli Says:

I don’t think we’ve been brave enough with the bat or the ball. We weren’t brave enough with our body language, Kohli said at the post-match presentation ceremony.

  • India was capped at under 110 for seven after being batted with Trent Boult,
  • Ish Sodhi and Mitchell Santner sharing the haul with the ball.
  • We didn’t have much to defend but we weren’t brave when we went out on the pitch.
  • The defeat will again raise questions about Kohli’s leadership,
  • Even as he resigns as T20 captain after the current tournament.

Asked how heavy the team’s expectations are, Virat Kohli, Says, When you play for the Indian cricket team, you have a lot of expectations, not just from the fans, but also from the players.

So there will be more and more pressure with our games and we have embraced it over the years. Anyone who plays for India must accept it. And when you do it together as a team, you get over it and we haven’t played these two games.

Expectations Don’t Mean You Start Playing:

Just because you are on the Indian team and there are expectations doesn’t mean you start playing differently. I think we are doing well, there is still a lot to play in cricket, added Kohli, referring to the remaining three group games that the team must win to stay in contention. India will play in Afghanistan on November 3, Scotland on November 5 and Namibia on November 8, which will close the T20 league stadium.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson led his team through the easy chase and was undefeated on 33. When the winning points were hit. Opener Daryl Mitchell scored with 49 of 35 balls.

There is always pre-match planning. But a fantastic overall performance from us against a great Indian team. We were able to put pressure on all the time and the way the first games came out really created the shape of the stage, Williamson said. The balance of our attack has two spinners, I think the collective unity has been impressive, the way they have continued to pass the baton. We also saw some really good signals in our first game and built on that. Look, you always play against such strong teams, for us it’s about playing our game. Ish is an outstanding T20 bowler, especially a white ball player. He played an important role and he played. In a series of competitions and in these conditions of rotation he will play a role.
