Riju laughingly started coming down then the stairs of the mansion. His mansion was built in a very new style….. It was said to be the mansion of the kings but according to Raju, it was then the house of the British.
“Let’s go to Kho today and eat the parathas then of Bebe’s hand for fun….. here he will cook the same English food.”

“ ویسے تو بڑے شاہ بنے پھرتے ہیں پر صفائی مجھ جیسی معصوم لڑکی سے کرواتے اللہ آپ نا ان کا وخرہ ( علیحدہ) حساب لینا “
وہ کمرے کی صفائی کرتی کرتی منہ میں بڑبڑا رہی تھی اس وقت وہ کمرے میں لگی ایک تصویر کو جھاڑ رہی تھی۔
“ صحیح ہے بھائی گند یہ پھیلائیں اور صفائی ہم غریب کریں…. اتنے اچھے تو اپنے ہاتھوں سے یہ گند صاف کیا کری “
وہ زور زور سے تصویر پر کپڑا مار رہی تھی وہ تصویر کسی جھوٹے بچے کی تھی جو بہت خوبصورت تھا سفید رنگ کالی بڑی بڑی آنکھیں…. سیاہ بال ہنستا ہوا وہ بچہ اس تصویر میں بہت پر کشش لگ رہا تھا لیکن اس کو اس وقت کوئی بھی چیز پسند نہیں آرہی تھی صبح سے شاہوں کی حویلی میں اس سے کام لیا جا رہا تھا۔
“….. بھوکے کنجوس کھانے کو بھی نہیں پوچھتے“
ابھی وہ مڑی ہی تھی کہ اس کے چہرے کا رنگ فق ہوگیا….. سامنے سفید شرٹ اور سفید جینز کی جیبوں میں ہاتھ ڈالے کھڑا وہ اسے بغور دیکھ رہا تھا۔
“ رب کا خوف کریں شاہ صاحب مجھے ایسے نہ گھورں میں نے کچھ کہا ہی نہیں“
وہ سفید رنگت سیاہ کالی آنکھوں والا پچیس سالہ نوجوان اب اسے ناسمجھی سے دیکھ رہا تھا تیکھا ناک ، خوبصورت ہونٹ سیاہ بال جو کہ سٹائلش سے کٹ ہوئے ہوئے تھے۔ قد تقریباً چھ فٹ چہرے پر ہلکی ہلکی داڑھی ناسمجھی جے تاثرات لیے اسے دیکھ رہا تھا ۔
( تم کیا کہہ رہی ہو؟”)

اس نے انگلیش میں سوال کیا۔
“ رب تیرا لاکھ لاکھ شکر ہے شاہ نے اردو نہیں آتی نہیں تو رجو آج تیرا قتل ابا نے ہی کرنا تھا۔”
وہ اس کے سامنے کھڑے کھڑے ہی اللہ کا شکر ادا کرنے لگی ہاتھ میں صفائی والا کپڑا پکڑا ہوا تھا اب وہ بس وہاں سے بھاگنا چاہتی تھی۔
“ اچھا شاہ صاحب میں جاتی ہوں…. آپ اپنے کمرے میں انجوئے کریں۔۔۔۔ “
وہ تیز تیز بولتی وہاں سے نکل آئی۔
“ رجو آج تو تیرے بال بال بچے بچ گئے ہیں “
اس نے کمرے میں دوبارہ جھانکتے ہوئے ہنستے ہوئے کہا اب وہ اپنی الماری کھول چکا تھا۔
“ ویسے رجو شاہ نو اردو نہیں آتی پر انگریزی آتی ہے پر تجھے تو دونوں ہی نہیں آتیں“
رجو ہنستے ہوئے حویلی کی سڑیوں سے نیچے اترنے لگی ان کی حویلی کو بہت ہی نئی طرز سے تعمیر کیا گیا تھا….. کہنے کو تو شاہوں کی حویلی تھی پر رجو کے مطابق انگریزوں کا گھر تھا۔
“ چل رجو آج کھو پہ جا کے مزے مزے کے بے بے کے ہاتھ کے پراٹھے کھا کے آ….. ادھر تو وہی انگریزی کھانا پکے گا۔”
