Shanu is in a bad condition because of fear. His face is full then of sweat. Amma’s eyes open when she sees Shanu sitting. What happened then to Shanu? She asks putting her hand on Shanu’s shoulder. .
Nothing, mom, I was just thirsty. Thus, I drank some water and went to sleep. They will be worried.
Thus, It was a normal thing. Shanu was unable to understand who is that person?? Why is he following me? Why can’t I see his face?
And then his voice sounds familiar but still Shanu doesn’t recognize him.
Shanu spent the whole night awake, this often happened then to him. Shanu stayed awake all night because of fear. When the call for Fajr was heard, Shanu and Amma started preparing to pray.
Nawab and father also walked towards the mosque. After praying, Amma and then Shanu got busy preparing breakfast. As soon as they both came home after praying, they all had breakfast together. They left for the village.

کککچھ نہی اماں بس مجھے پیاس لگی تھی۔۔۔پانی پی کر سونے لگی ہوں۔۔۔شانو بہانہ گڑ دیتی ہے اور جلدی سے اٹھ کر پانی پی کر واپس آ کر لیٹ جاتی ہے۔۔۔جانتی ہے اگر اماں کو بتایا تو وہ پریشان ہو جائیں گی۔۔۔
یہ تو معمول کی بات تھی۔۔۔شانو سمجھنے سے قاصر تھی کہ کون ہے وہ شخص؟؟ کیوں پیچھا کرتا ہے میرا۔۔۔اس کا چہرہ کیوں نظر نہی آتا مجھے۔۔۔اور اس کی آواز جانی پہچانی سی لگتی ہے لیکن پھر بھی شانو پہچان نہی پاتی اسے۔۔۔
ساری رات شانو نے جاگ کر گزاری اس کے ساتھ اکثر ہی ایسا ہوتا رہتا تھا۔۔ ڈر کے مارے ساری ساری رات جاگتی رہتی تھی شانو۔۔۔۔۔فجر کی اذان کی آواز آئی تو شانو اور اماں نماز پڑھنے کی تیاری میں لگ گئی۔۔
نواب اور ابا بھی مسجد کی طرف چل پڑے۔۔۔نماز پڑھ کر اماں اور شانو دونوں ناشتہ بنانے میں مصروف ہو گئی۔۔۔جیسے ہی وہ دونوں نماز پڑھ کر گھر آئے سب نے مل کر ناشتہ کیا۔۔۔اور تیار ہو کر گاوں کے لیے روانہ ہو گئے۔۔۔

دوپہر تک وہ لوگ گاوں پہنچ گئے بس سے اتر کر وہ لوگ تانگے پر بیٹھ کر گھر کی طرف روانہ ہو گئے۔۔
کچھ ہی دیر میں وہ اپنے گھر کے سامنے تھے۔۔۔تین سال بعد گھر کو دیکھ کر شانو کے اماں ابا کی آنکھوں میں آنسو آ گئے۔۔
نواب نے آگے بڑھ کر ابا کے کندھے پر ہاتھ رکھا تو وہ مسکراتے ہوئے اندر کی طرف بڑھ گئے۔۔۔اندر گئے تو سامنے ماں کو بیٹھے دیکھ جلدی سے آگے بڑھے۔۔۔اور ماں کے ہاتھ چومتے ہوئے ان کے گلے لگ گئے۔۔
تین سال بعد ماں بیٹے کو گھر میں دیکھ کر آبدیدہ ہو گئی۔۔۔ارے اماں اب کیا بس بیٹے کو ہی سارا پیار دے دیں گی تھوڑا ہمارے لیے بھی بچا لیں شانو کی ماں بھی جلدی سے آگے بڑھ کر ان کے گلے لگ گئی۔۔
