“Boys doing such a big crime, you did not fear what you are afraid then of now.”
The jailer asked in a stern tone, holding then his sword in his hands.
“No, I’m not scared.”
Contrary to the facial expressions, then his style was quite fearless. This jailer had never joined the duty. He did not like then the style of this boy.
“Boy, you have then to stay here for five months. You better keep your mouth shut in front of me, or you will be like an innocent human being caught among wild animals.”
The jailer wanted then to warn him on his own.

چہرے کےتاثرات کے برعکس اسکا انداز کافی نڈر تھا۔اس جیلر نے نٸ نٸ ڈیوٹی جواٸن کی تھی۔اس لڑکے کا انداز اسے کچھ خاص پسند نہیں آیا تھا۔
“لڑکے تمہیں ابھی پانچ ماہ تک یہیں رہنا ہے۔بہتر ہے یہ زبان میرے سامنے بند رہے ورنہ تمہارا حال وہی ہو گا جو جنگلی جانوروں کے درمیان پھنسے اک مصوم سے آدم زاد کا ہوتا ہے۔”
جیلر نے اپنے تٸیں اسے خبردار کرنا چاہا تھا۔
“آپ بھی ایک بات ذہن میں بٹھا لیں سر۔۔”
اس لڑکے نے اپنی آنکھیں جیلر کی آنکھوں میں گاڑتے ہوۓ اسی بے خوفی سے کہا۔
“سب سے بڑا جنگلی جانور آدم زاد ہی ہوتا ہے ۔جب وہ اپنی معصومیت اور انسانیت کھو دیتا ہے تو اس سے بڑا درندہ کوٸی نہیں ہوتا۔”
جیلر اسکی بات سن کر چونکا تھا۔۔وہ لڑکا اپنی عمر سے بڑی باتیں کر رہا تھا۔جیلر نے بات بدلی۔
“تمہیں معلوم ہے تم نے کس پہ حملہ کیا ہے۔وہ بہت بڑا آدمی ہے تمہیں چھوڑے گا نہیں۔کیوں کیا تھا اس پہ حملہ؟”
“میرا حملے کا کوٸی ارادہ نہیں تھا۔باٸی چانس ہی پسٹل چل گٸ تھی۔میں نے تو اسے صرف خوف زدہ کرنے کی کوشش کی تھی تا کہ تھوڑی رقم حاصل کر سکوں۔۔”
لڑکے کے بے پرواہ انداز سے صاف پتا چل رہا تھا کہ وہ جھوٹ بول رہا ہے۔

“کیوں چاہیے تھی وہ رقم؟ “
جیلر نے مشکوک سے انداز میں پوچھا۔
“کیوں چاہیے ہوتی ہے رقم؟” اس نے جوابی سوال کیا تھا۔پھر خود ہی وضاحت کرتے ہوۓ بتانے لگا۔۔
“مجھے بھوک لگی تھی اور پیسے نہیں تھے میرے پاس اس لیے۔۔۔”
“اسے سیل میں لے جا کہ بند کر دو ۔اور ہاں اسے کچھ کھانے کو بھی دے دینا۔”
“سر بھوک تب لگی تھی ابھی نہیں لگی۔”جاتے جاتے اس نے پلٹ کر کہا تھا۔۔
جیلر کی نظروں نے کمرے سے باہر نکلتے ہوۓ منہاس کی چوڑی پشت کا تعاقب کیا تھا۔۔
اسکی وہ پہلی قید پانچ ماہ کی تھی ۔لیکن پانچ ماہ کی قید نے بعد میں بھی روابط کا کام کیا تھا۔
“آٶ آٶ منہاس بڑے عرصے بعد چکر لگایا۔”
ماضی کے حوالوں کو جھٹکتے ہوۓ جیلر فیاض نے شگفتگی سے اسے بیٹھنے کا اشارہ کیا۔
وہ آنے سے قبل انہیں آگاہ کر چکا تھا۔
“شکریہ سر”۔وہ بیٹھتے ہوۓ رحمت کو بھی ہاتھ پکڑ کے بٹھا چکا تھا۔
“ویسے تم بلکل نہیں بدلے تین سال قبل دیکھا تھا تمہیں۔”
“سب نے تین سال پہلے ہی دیکھا تھا”۔وہ بڑبڑایا۔
“تم نے جو کام کہا تھا وہ ہو گیا ہے۔ان تینوں کو آج ایک ہی بیرک میں بند کیا ہے ۔تمہارے پاس صرف بیس منٹ ہیں منہاس۔۔”
جیلر فیاض ان دونوں کو لے کر ایک راہداری میں آ گۓ تھے جس کے آگے کی طرف قیدیوں کے سیل بنے ہوۓ تھے۔
