The company behind the Miraxess Miradock Laptop Dock which allows you to turn your smartphone into a laptop has announced a new inexpensive device called the MiraDock that allows you to use your smartphone as a desktop computer.
The Miradoc, with a pre-order price of £139 (about $147), is expected to ship in the first quarter of 2023.
It’s smaller than the Cube and has a USB-C connector Desktop Computers on the front so it can connect to more smartphones. Below you will find doors containing the following.
The idea is that you can connect your smartphone and use the port to connect a display, keyboard, mouse, memory, or any other device. A phone that supports video output via a USB port is a must. And if the phone uses an external display, using it in desktop mode gives better results.
Miraxus says you can use the USB-C port on the back of the dock to connect two devices to the Miradock at the same time and swap between them with the push of a button on the device. If so, you can quickly use the screen, mouse, and keyboard, for example, on a phone or computer.
