Resident Evil 4 Remake – 11 Things That We Learned From The New Gameplay

The Resident Evil 4 Remake update is only a few weeks away, but Capcom still has a lot of questions to answer about the remake. Fortunately, I was able to watch 20 minutes of the match, which allowed me to see the lakes, the castle, and the famous battle of Krauser.

However, this massive expansion did not continue. Unlike the original, Resident Evil 2 Remake has a long sword handle after the sword is drawn. So while more flexibility is added to Resident Evil 4’s combat style, there are some resource management options to consider.

Chains aren’t the only thing Leon can do with his trusty sword these days. In fact, depending on how you play, you can fight with your sword. Whether it’s flying bombs, speeding bullets, or hungry bugs, Leon’s new weapon can handle them all.

Also, Leon now has more playability, giving players a second to recover from attacks like the Garradoro giants. In fact, depending on how you play, you can fight games with your sword. Unlike the original, Resident Evil 2 Remake has a long sword handle after the sword is drawn. So while more flexibility is added to Resident Evil 4’s combat style, there are some resource management options to consider. Also, Leon now has more playability, giving players a second to recover from attacks like the Garradoro giants.

Director Uhasuhio Ampo and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi assured us that Leon’s battle cry will not interfere with the enemy. In addition to giving the player more ways to fight, there is a balance between creating the same enemies and resources to work with you. So Capcom improved the enemies and gave them new attacks to level the playing field.

Expanded Exploration

Expanded exploration

While the original RE4 was linear (by Resident Evil standards), the update takes it a step further, giving players more room to roam and explore. Most importantly, it includes the freedom to hunt on board.

The boat was originally reserved for Captain Del Lago. But this time you can control the freedom of the ship, swim in the cave and really explore other places.

New Requests Resident Evil 4 Remake

Although the plot of the first game is linear, it is one of the biggest surprises of the game. So when I asked Ampo-san and Hirabayashi-san if they were thinking about starting a long quest, they said that while it’s important to continue the first journey, they would give the player a chance to explore if he wanted.

Work with him. …Also, Ampo-san said that Resident Evil 2 Remake has more Metroidvania style than before, and he wants to bring that to RE4R.

Storage Resident Evil 4 Remake

The detail I saw in these parts of the machine and how Del Lago’s fight with the captain supported the preparation of the spear made me think there were more enemies in the water than we were shown.
Resident Evil 4’s original feature is the Blue Medallion feature, where players can guess and shoot blue medals.

I suspect that part of the introduction of control came through crafting, as players now have so many materials to gather to make herbs, weapons, etc., and it really is messy and rainy and many other things. There’s not much I liked more than spending a lot of time packing my inventory in the first game, so this new addition is fun.

Case customization and Charms

Players can now change the physical state of their event. It’s a small but intuitive touch that recognizes the game’s importance. I’m only expecting two different boxes – one with a traditional silver metallic interior, the other with a sleek black exterior – but I think there will be plenty more options to open.

The exterior of the box isn’t the only customizable addition. Now Leon can add three items to his offense, each with their own playing perks. They showed me a piece of chicken that gives the player 100% health if they eat an egg.

Ceiling Plaga Resident Evil 4 Remake

Capcom told me that these experiences are created by playing the mini-game, but details of the game have not been revealed. Can this replace the stats you originally created from the Shooting Gallery mini-game? Yes, you read that right.

The terrible suffering already erupting from the male head can now leap into the air and stick to the ceiling, which is absolutely terrifying. I think that’s what commander Aposan was referring to when he talked about giving enemies extra powers to complement Leon’s new combat abilities.

Ashley Graham

Ashley Graham

Ashley Graham, herself has seen one of the most impressive of many improvements yet in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.  First of all, it doesn’t have a health bar. Now the player no longer has to monitor their health, pause the game to bring about a slump or worry about improving it on the go.

When I asked the team about their decision to change Ashley’s health, they found that micromanaging her health became a game in itself, treating her as that human form not his own.

Some Things are Best Untouched

It creates more jobs for players. Capcom sticks with Ashley’s anthropomorphism and announces that you can no longer order Ashley to hide in a dumpster, calling such treatment of the character cruel. Be sure to check out our hands-on preview of the Resident Evil 4 Remake here.

Another change affects the way Ashley works. The player now has two basic options for Ashley to give Leon some chance or stay close during the battle. The messages feel more natural and instinctive than previous messages that were just “stop” or “follow me.”

This new approach to combat is the first time we’ve seen him take advantage of newly added stealth mechanics, where Leo Garador’s stealth with a knife on a spinal parasite.

New Weapon – Bolt Thrower

While I will always have an affinity for the original knife-fighting QTE, the one showing the remake still manages to look badass. Also, the conversation between Leon and Krauser, which Leon refers to as “Operation Xavier,” looks very poignant. Do these add more details to Krauser’s alleged death two years ago?

Aposan emphasized the importance of personalizing Ashley and Leon’s relationship and adding depth to what’s not in the original – similarly based on the strengths Claire and Leon showed in Resident Evil 2 Remake. It does this by making Leon and Ashley talk more.

Although there have been some improvements and changes, some features look almost identical to the original. This includes the game’s iconic cage door. Navigating the castle, taking out bogan-wielding priests, and dodging the Flare cannon seem largely unchanged from the original, save for a few minor updates.

The Garrador Fight

This includes a lot of shooting, enemies, and of course the ability to freely fire cannons at the main entrance.
The volunteer is added rounds. While I only saw it in action once during the game, it was really impressive as I watched it start a nearby mine on the ground and then explode, crashing into several enemy races.

Is that a reference to Code Veronica? There are many iconic enemy encounters from the original Resident Evil 4, but few are as ingrained in my brain as your first encounter with the blind.

The Krauser Knife Fight

Motionless Garador Beast It’s a claustrophobic dance around a monster that allows you to follow with just sound. In the remake, Capcom upped the ante with a scene where you fight Garador less and put chains hanging from the ceiling, Leon has to maneuver around them to leave his position to avoid sounds.

Yeah, that’s true. In the short clip I showed, the mechanics of the knife game and the secondary escape instructions are on full display as he faces Jack Krauser.
