موسی نے تکیے کو سیدھا کیا بیڈ سائیڈ لیمپ کو بجھا کر کمبل چہرے تک تان لیا ۔ دل میں شکر ادا کیا کہ کم از کم ٹانگیں سیدھی کرنے کی سہولت تو ملی ہے لیکن ساتھ ہی پاوں میں چبھے جھمکے کی چبھن بھی محسوس ہو رہی تھی ۔۔ جبکہ وردہ پیچ و تاب کھا کر نئے منصوبوں پر غور وفکر کر رہی تھی ۔۔
موسی سکندر خان دیکھنا میں تمھارا جینا دوبھر کر دوں گی اور تم خود اپنے ہاتھوں سے مجھے میرے گھر چھوڑ کر آو گے ۔ “بس دیکھتے جاو میں کرتی کیا ہوں تمھارے ساتھ؟” ۔

مجبور ہو کر صوفے سے ٹیک لگا کر نیم دراز ہو گئی جبکہ جسم میں خون ابھی بھی کھول رہا تھا ، بس نہیں چل رہا تھا کہ اس موسی سکندر خان کو بستر سے نیچے پٹخ دے ۔۔۔
میرے خوابوں اور میرے تمام ارمانوں کا قاتل ۔کیا کچھ نہیں سوچا تھا ؟ کتنا کچھ کرنا چاہتی تھی میں اپنی زندگی میں لیکن اس شخص نے میرے سب ارادوں پر پانی پھیر دیا ہے ۔۔۔۔ زہر لگتا ہے یہ مجھے تنگ ذہن اور تنگ نظر شخص ۔ فکر نہ کرو ، میں نے بھی جینا دوبھر کر دینا ہےتمھارا۔ ۔ دیکھتی ہوں کتنا صابر ہے ؟۔۔
بڑی بڑی روشن بھوری آنکھوں سے موتی ٹوٹ ٹوٹ کر گرنا شروع ہو گئے ۔ دل کی بھڑاس نکال کر الماری میں لٹکا سادہ سا بوٹم اور ٹی شرٹ نکال کر غسل کے لئے گھس گئی ۔ کتنی دیر تو رونے میں گزاری اور پھر نیم گرم پانی سے خود کو تازہ دم کیا ۔ گھنے ریشمی تراشیدہ بالوں میں تولیہ لپیٹ کر کمرے میں قدم رکھتے ہی پوری قوت کے ساتھ بھاری پردوں کو کھڑکیوں کے سامنے سے ہٹایا تو یکدم سورج کی کرنوں نے سارے کمرے کو مکمل طور پر روشن کر دیا ۔
بستر پر پڑے موسی کو رتی برابر فرق نہ پڑا وہ ویسے ہی منہ سر لپیٹے سو رہا تھا ۔
وردہ کی پوری کوشش تھی کہ اس کو زچ کرے لیکن سونے والا بھی شاید ڈھیٹوں کا سردار نکلا
