Roshane, put one thing in my mind. Will you give me one or six daughters, even then this Khan will not leave you” he said in a serious tone with mischief in his eyes.
Thus, All the attention of Roshan was on the six children.

’’بولو‘‘ نظریں لیپ ٹاپ پر جمائے اجازت دی گئی۔
’’ وہ خان وہ مجھے۔۔۔۔۔‘‘
’’ کیا وہ، وہ لگا رکھی ہے‘‘
’’خان وہ میں۔۔۔۔۔۔وہ مجھے آپ سے شادی نہیں کرنی‘‘ بلآخر اپنی بات اسنے ایک ہی سانس میں کہہ ڈالی۔
’’وجہ‘‘ نظریں ہنوز لیپ ٹاپ پر تھی۔
’’ مجھے پتا ہے کہ آپ نے فوج میں کسی بریگیڈیر کی بیٹی کو پسند کیا ہوا ہے اور مجھسے شادی صرف اسلیے کررہے کہ آپ کو عاق نا کردیا جائے‘‘ وجہ بیان کرتے کرتے آخر میں اسکی آواز بھیگ گئی۔
’’اسکا بھلا کیا مطلب ہوا؟‘‘
:اڑان سنیک پیک حصہ بی
’’میں جانتی ہوں شادی کے بعد آپ مجھے چھوڑ دے گے،کیونکہ آپ کو بیٹی نہیں چاہیے،اور آپ بیٹے کے لیے اس بریگیڈیر کی بیٹی سے شادی کرلے گے اور مجھ سے نفرت کرے گے‘‘۔ کہتے ہوئے آخر میں وہ رو پڑی۔
’’روشانے ایک بات میری اپنے دماغ میں بٹھا لوں۔۔۔ تم مجھے ایک تو کیا چھ بیٹیاں بھی دو گی نا تب بھی یہ خان تمہیں نہیں چھوڑے گا‘‘آنکھوں میں شرارت کیے،سنجیدہ لہجے میں وہ بولا۔
روشانے کا سارا دھیان تو چھ بچوں پر اڑ گیا تھا۔
’’خان میں چھ بچیاں نہیں پیدا کر سکتی‘‘کہہ وہ پھر سے رونے میں مصروف ہوگئی۔اور خان تو اسکو دیکھ کر رہ گیا،یعنی کے اسکے احساس جزبات،جو اتنی دیر سے وہ اسے کہہ رہا تھا،سب بکواس تھا۔
