Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A.) has said that The veiling of a woman is better than the blood of a martyr.
Many girls think that veiling will take away their freedom, but this is not the case. We should follow our religion of Islam as much as possible instead of spoiling our hereafter and worldly life by adapting ourselves to the European environment. Islam is a very beautiful religion. وہ دونوں اس وقت یونی کے ہال میں موجود تھیں جہاں آج کے فنکشن کا اہتمام کیا گیا تھا۔ ہر طرف سفید اور زرد روشنی پھیلی ہوئی تھی۔ ہال کے اندر دونوں جانب کرسیاں اور میز لگی ہوئی تھیں جن کو سفید اور ہلکے جامنی رنگ کے کامبینیشن کے کپڑوں سے ڈھکا ہوا تھا۔ وہاں ایک سے ایک ماڈرن لڑکیاں موجود تھیں۔ کچھ لڑکیوں نے تنگ جینز کے ساتھ شارٹ شرٹس پہنی ہوئی تھیں جب کہ کچھ لڑکیوں نے سلیولیس شرٹس کے ساتھ ٹراؤزرز پہنے ہوئے تھے۔ تقریبا ہر لڑکی کے بال کھلے ہوئے تھے اور اچھا خاصا میک اپ کیا ہوا تھا۔ صرف پری ہان اور ثناء ہی تھیں جنہوں نے خود کو چھپایا ہوا تھا اور میک اپ نہ ہونے کے برابر تھا۔
ثناء نے وہاں کے ماحول کو دیکھ کر پری ہان کو دیکھتے ہوئے کہا “یار پری ہم اس ماحول میں کتنے عجیب لگ رہے ہیں۔ ایسا لگ رہا ہے جیسے میلاد پر آئے ہو۔”اسکی بات سن کر پری ہان نے ایک نظر اس کی طرف دیکھا اور پھر کہنے لگی” دیکھو ثناء ہمیں اس بات سے کوئی فرق نہیں پڑنا چاہیے کہ ہم کیسے لگ رہے ہیں اور کیسے نہیں۔ بلکہ ہمیں تو خوش ہونا چاہیے کہ ہم نے باقی لڑکیوں کی طرح خود کی نمائش نہیں کی ہوئی۔ اور نہ ہی ہم نے ایسا لباس پہنا ہوا ہے جس سے لوگ ہماری طرف اٹریکٹ ہو۔ اور ہمارا دین بھی ہمیں یہی سکھاتا ہے کہ عورت کو خود کو چھپا کر رکھنا چاہیے۔ کیوں کہ عورت کا مطلب ‘پردہ’ ہے۔ کم ازکم ہم خود کو کمفرٹیبل فیل تو کر رہے ہیں نہ۔”
ثناء نے اسکی بات پر غور کیا اور کہنے لگی”ہاں یار ویسے تم بات تو بالکل ٹھیک کہہ رہی ہو۔ چلو خیر اندر چل کر بیٹھتے ہیں۔”
یہاں میں ایک بات کہنا چاہوں گی کہ جو لوگ یہ کہتے ہیں کہ اسلام میں بہت پابندیاں ہیں۔ ان لوگوں کو خود کی اصلاح کرنے کی ضرورت ہے۔ اسلام ہمیں تعلیم حاصل کرنے سے نہیں روکتا لیکن تعلیم کے نام پر کی جانے والی بے حیائی سے روکتا ہے۔ ہمارے دین میں تو یہاں تک کہا گیا ہے کہ اگر علم حاصل کرنے کے لئے چین بھی جانا پڑے تو جاؤ۔ لیکن اس کا مطلب ہرگز یہ نہیں ہوتا کہ علم کے نام پر برے کام شروع کر دیئے جائیں۔ اسلام ہرگز یہ نہیں کہتا کہ عورت تعلیم حاصل نہ کرے۔ عورت کی تعلیم پر کوئی پابندی نہیں ہے لیکن عورت کو چاہیے کہ جہاں تک ہو سکے خود کو ڈھانپ کر رکھے

۔ تعلیم ہمیں شعور سکھاتی ہے۔ لیکن ہمارے یہاں بعض لوگ ایسے بھی موجود ہیں جو اعلی تعلیم حاصل کرنے کے باوجود بھی جہالت کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہیں۔ ہمارے یہاں آج کل لڑکے لڑکیاں یورپ کا ماحول پسند کرتے ہیں۔ جہاں ہر قسم کی برائی عام ہے۔ لڑکیاں خود کو انگریزی لباس میں بہت خوبصورت سمجھتی ہیں۔ جب کہ وہ اپنی آخرت خراب کرنے کے علاوہ اور کچھ نہیں کر رہی ہوتی۔ مسلمان عورت کی اصل خوبصورتی اس کے اسلامی لباس میں ہوتی ہے۔ میں یہ نہیں کہتی کہ لڑکیاں فیشن نہ کریں۔ لڑکیاں بالکل فیشن کریں لیکن اپنی ہی حیا میں رہ کر کریں۔ ایسا فیشن ہرگز نہ کریں جس سے ان کی آخرت کی زندگی اور دنیا کی زندگی دونوں خراب ہو جائیں۔ حضرت امام حسین رضی تعالی عنہ کا قول ہے کہ” عورت کا پردہ کرنا شہید کے خون سے بھی زیادہ افضل ہوتا ہے۔”
بہت سی لڑکیاں یہ سمجھتی ہیں کہ پردہ کرنے سے ان کی آزادی ختم ہو جائے گی جبکہ ایسا ہرگز نہیں ہے۔ ہمیں چاہیے کہ خود کو یورپین ماحول میں ڈھال کر اپنی آخرت اور دنیا کی زندگی خراب کرنے کے بجائے جہاں تک ہو سکے اپنے دین اسلام کی پیروی کریں۔ دین اسلام ایک بہت خوبصورت مذہب ہے۔ جہاں تک ہو سکے اپنے دین کو پروموٹ کریں۔ اللہ پاک ہمیں ان برائیوں سے بچائے اور ہمارا خاتمہ ایمان پر کرے آمین۔
