Automated System for Stolen Mobile – Pakistan Launches New System for Snatched and Blocking Mobile Phones


Pakistan launches a new Automated System for Stolen Mobile, which will also block the snatched mobile phones. A new initiative called LSDS (System of Dead Devices). E by the Act is designed for users who want to lock their mobile phones. People will be able to use the new system. They will send applications to the PTA to block their devices in case of theft, confiscation, or damage. Upon receipt of their application, the regulatory authority deactivates the IMEI of the mobile phone within 24 hours to avoid possible abuse.
