Elden Ring Support Details: Alden Color has finally received its long-promised ray tracing update thanks to patch 1.09. There are also no shadows because the rays and all the changes are only on the surface, removing the smooth edges of the nearby stone.
The feature is now available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X, as noted by Dark Souls modder Lance McDonald, after which it was unfortunately limited to fallout shadows and ambient occlusion. While the Resident evil settings menu includes tracking adjustments.

There are no options for additional NVIDIA DLSS or AMD options to ensure better frame rates when playing at higher graphics settings. MacDonald, who gained fame by creating the landmark Bloodborne 60fps mod, believes the PS5 patch is huge, coming in at 5GB, while the PC update is only 200MB in size.
This is because the PS5 version has a pre-compiled shader ready to use after downloading and installing. On PC, however, Elden Ring requires you to download an initial update before compiling/installing shaders, a feature common to most modern PC games.
Nothing compares to Hogwarts Legacy on PC though, which collects shaders after every launch. FromSoftware is aware of the lack of additional capabilities, and therefore lists 1080p as the resolution level, in the recommended system requirements. Anything more than that can spoil your experience.

Alden Ring patch 1.09 brings significant balance changes to the game, from expanding online PvP to making changes to more Ashes of War. The company previously released an interesting infographic showing that players have died more than 9 billion times in Ring of Elden, with enemy damage, lethal collisions, status effects, and online PvP being huge.
Bandai Namco also confirmed last month that Alden Ring had sold 20 million units since its February 2022 release.
