رکشی بیگم اپنی ماں کی اکلوتی بیٹی تھی ان کی ماں کی بھی وفات ہوچکی تھی علیزے کے والد کا بھی کوٸی نہیں تھا .
کوثر بیگم اور ان کے تینوں بیٹوں نے علیزے کو سنبھالا اس برے وقت میں ان لوگوں نے اس کو اکیلا نہیں چھوڑا علیزے کے والدین کی وفات کو ایک مہینہ گزر گیا تھا اب وہ کافی سنبھل چکی تھی بس ہنستی بولتی کم تھی ذایان اس کو ہنساتا بھی تو کبھی ہنس دیتی کبھی رونے لگ جاتی تھی وہ کبھی کسی بھاٸی کے ساتھ باہر بھی نکلتی تو عورتیں ایک دوسرے کے کانوں میں گھس جاتی یا اس معصوم بے سہارا پر طعنے کستی سعد غصے سے دیکھتا تو خاموشی سے نکل جاتی تھی
کوثر بیگم کے علم میں بھی لوگوں کی ساری باتیں تھیں ان کے گھر کے بارے میں لوگ کیسی کیسی باتیں کرتے ہیں تین جوان لڑکے ایک جوان لڑکی اندر ہی اندر کیا کچھ ہوتا ہے ہمیں کیا معلوم لوگوں کی باتیں سن سن کر کوثر بیگم پریشان ہوگٸ تھیں آج وہ ایک مولوی صاحب کے گھر آٸیں تھیں اس معاملے کا حل نکالنے وہ اپنے چاروں بچوں سے بہت محبت کرتی تھیں ان کی یوں بدنامی برداشت نہیں کرسکتی تھیں

”مولوی صاحب ایک مہینہ پہلے جو حادثہ ہوا اس سے تو آپ واقف ہی ہیں ان کی جو بیٹی تھی وہ ہم سے بہت زیادہ مانوس تھی ہمارے علاوہ اس دنیا میں اس کا کوٸی ہے بھی نہیں تو میں نے اس کو بیٹی بنا کر اپنے پاس رکھا ہوا ہے میرے تینوں بیٹے بھی بہن مانتے ہیں اسے مگر لوگ ان کی باتیں اس بچی کو سکون سے جینے نہیں دیتیں میں کیا کروں میرے سمجھ نہیں آرہا“
کوثر بیگم نے ساری بات مولوی صاحب کے غوش گزار کی
”بہن یہ تو اچھی بات ہے آپ نے ایک بے سہارا بچی کو سہارا دیا مگر اس دنیا کے قانون کے مطابق آپ اس کو ایسے نہیں رکھ سکتیں کل کو کسی نے آپ پر الزام لگا دیا آپ نے ایک لڑکی کو قید کیا ہوا ہے تو آپ کیا کریں گی آپ کا تو کوٸی رشتہ نہیں اس سے آپ کو اس کو قانونی طور پر اپنی بیٹی بنانے کے لیے کاغذی کارواٸی کا سامنا کرنا ہوگا مگر ان کاموں میں کافی پیچیدگیاں پیش آتی ہیں اور دوسرا حل یہ ہے کوٸی اچھا لڑکا دیکھ کر اس کی شادی کروادیں“
