وہ کراہ کہ رہ گئی. اس نے اپنے ہاتھ دیکھے ایک گجرا غائب تھا۔ اس کی نظر شیراز پہ پڑی تو وہ چونک گئی، اس کا
وہ گجرا شیراز کے سینے پہ پڑا تھا، اور وہ بے خبر سو رہا تھا. جیسے وہ بہت وقت بعد سکون سے سویا ہو. اس کے چہرے پہ سکون تھا.
یا اللّٰہ! یہ کیا ہوگیا ، وہ جانتی تھی اس سے غلطی نہیں گناہ ہوگیا ہے۔ بے پردگی کا گناہ.
اس نے اپنا سر گھٹنوں میں دے دیا ، وہ رونے لگی تھی.
شیراز اس کی سسکیاں سن کے نیند سے بیدار ہو گیا. اس نے صاحبہ کو دیکھا وہ سر گھٹنوں میں دیے رو رہی تھی.
وہ جانتا تھا وہ کیوں رو رہی ہے ، اسے سمجھ نہیں آرہا تھا کیا کہے اسے کیا تسلی دے ۔
“صاحبہ میں ! ” وہ بات کرنا چاہ رہا تھا لیکن اس کے الفاظ اس کا ساتھ نہیں دے رہے تھے.
صاحبہ نے سر اٹھا کہ شیراز کو دیکھا پھر جلدی سے اپنا چہرہ دوسری طرف کر دیا.

مینے میرے بابا کے پاس جانا ہے مجھے میرے بابا کے پاس جانا ہے۔
مجھے گھر لے چلیں اللّٰہ کا واسطہ.!” وہ ہاتھ جوڑ رہی تھی.

صاحبہ! سعد بھائی اور عائزہ بھابھی سے مل لیں ۔ اسے بتا دیں کہ ہم لوگ جا رہے ہیں ۔”
“شیراز مجھے کسی سے نہیں ملنا۔ مجھے میرے بابا کے پاس جانا ہے۔”

وہ گاڑی سے باہر دیکھ رہی تھی۔
“بابا آپ کی بیٹی نے آپ کا غرور توڑ دیا ہے۔ مٹی میں ملا دی ہے آپ کی عزت۔” اس نے دکھ سے سوچا۔
