“Why did you need to come into that room?”
Sandila was making Pari change her dress, then Moazzam came into the room and spoke to Sandila
A while ago Qasim had gone and Pappu had also left for the necessary work after eating
“Your friend came to give him tea.”
For one thing, Sandila had not digested the tone of His Highness before and he was still coming into the room and asking questions to Sandila with countless bulls on his forehead, then Sandila looked at him and spoke.
“I asked you to make tea for him.”
Moazzam, speaking in a worse mood, had taken Pari from Sandila’s lap as she was stretching her hands in front of him to come to Moazzam.
“Brother Sharaft also comes to our house, then what is there to spoil the face,, if you are angry with me now, then I will not talk to you all day, you are telling me.”

Moazzam carrying Pari in his lap, looking carefully at Sandila’s face, now started calling her then to him in a soft tone
“I’m not coming, I have enough work now”
Sandila said to Moazzam and started leaving the room. Then Moazzam blocked Sandila’s path and took her into his custody very gently

Moazzam felt that he had shown his heart by his strict attitude, then he gently explained to Sandila

Moazzam put his hand on Sandila’s cheek and said while looking at her face with deep eyes, then Sandila took Pari from his lap and sat her in the cart and held the soft toy placed on the corner table in Pari’s hand.

After listening to Muazzam, Sandila stared then at him
“Don’t talk nonsense, the fairy is seated so that you listen to me carefully.”
While speaking to Moazzam, Sandila held both his hands, on which Moazzam became serious and waited for him to speak
“Leave it alone, please, for me and then the fairy’s sake.”
She looked into Moazzam’s eyes and spoke in a worried tone, on which Moazzam started looking at Sandila silently, then he removed both his hands from Sandila’s hands and held her face.

“کیا ضرورت تھی آپ کو وہاں کمرے میں آنے کی”
سندیلا پری کو ڈریس چینج کروا رہی تھی تب معظم کمرے میں آتا ہوا سندیلا سے بولا
تھوڑی دیر پہلے قاسم جا چکا تھا اور پپو بھی کھانا کھا کر ضروری کام سے نکل گیا تھا
“ایسے ہی منہ اٹھا کر تھوڑی آئی تھی تمہارا دوست آیا تھا اسے چائے دینے آئی تھی”
ایک تو سندیلا کو پہلے معظم کا لہجہ ہضم نہیں ہوا تھا اور وہ ابھی بھی کمرے میں آ کر لاتعداد بل ماتھے پر سجائے سندیلا سے سوال کر رہا تھا تبھی سندیلا اس کو دیکھتی ہوئی بولی
“میں نے آپ سے کہا تھا کہ آپ اس کے لئے چائے بنا کر لائے”
معظم مزید بگڑے موڈ سے بولتا ہوا پری کو سندیلا کی گود سے لے چکا تھا کیونکہ وہ معظم کے پاس آنے کے لئے اپنے ہاتھ اسکے آگے بڑھا رہی تھی
“شرافت بھائی بھی تو آتے ہیں ہمارے گھر، پھر اس میں منہ بگاڑنے والی کونسی بات ہے،، معظم اگر اب تم نے مجھ پر غصہ کیا ناں تو پھر میں سارا دن تم سے بات نہیں کروں گی بتا رہی ہو”
اب بھلا سندیلا کو کیا پتہ تھا کہ وہ اس کے چائے لانے پر اتنا برا مانے گا جبھی سندیلا اس کو دھمکی دیتی ہوئی بولی
“سندیلا آپ پپو کو اس سے ملا رہی ہیں، پپو کی الگ بات ہے یار۔۔۔ آئندہ گھر پر کوئی بھی آئے آپ کو کسی کے سامنے آنے کی ضرورت نہیں ہے۔۔ معلوم نہیں ہے آپ کو میرا کیسے لوگوں سے پالا پڑتا ہے”
سندیلا کا منہ بنا دیکھ کر اب کی بار معظم تھوڑا آرام سے اسے سمجھاتا ہوا بولا
“تو اس میں میری کیا غلطی ہے، تمہیں اپنی گیدرینگ ٹھیک رکھنا چاہیے۔۔۔ بلکہ الٹا تم مجھ پر غصہ ہو رہے ہو اب یہ مت بولنا کہ تمہیں غصہ نہیں آرہا مجھ پر”

وہ پری کے میلے کپڑے اٹھانے کے ساتھ، باقی کی چیزیں سمیٹنے لگی۔۔۔ اسے لگا اب اگر معظم نے اسے کچھ بھی بولا تو وہ رو دے گی۔۔۔ دوسرے کے برے سے برے رویہ وہ آرام سے برداشت کرتی آئی تھی مگر وہ اس شخص کی اپنی طرف اٹھتی سخت نگاہ بھی گنورا نہیں کر سکتی تھی
“اچھا یہاں آئیے میرے پاس”
معظم پری کو گود میں اٹھائے سندیلا کا چہرہ غور سے دیکھتا ہوا اب کی بار نرم لہجے میں اسے اپنے پاس بلانے لگا
“نہیں آرہی ابھی کام ہیں مجھے کافی”
سندیلا معظم کو کہتی ہوئی کمرے سے نکلنے لگی۔۔۔ تبھی معظم نے سندیلا کا راستہ روک کر بےحد نرمی سے اسے اپنے حصار میں لے لیا
“یار کسی غیر مرد کے سامنے آپ کو آنے سے منع کروں گا تو اس کا یہ مطلب تو نہیں ہے کہ میں آپ پر غصہ ہوں۔۔۔ غصہ نہیں کر رہا میں، بس یہی سمجھانا چاہ رہا ہوں آئندہ احتیاط کیجئے گا”
معظم کو لگا کہ وہ اپنے سخت رویہ سے اس کا دل دکھا چکا ہے تبھی نرمی سے سندیلا کو سمجھانے لگا
“پیار کرتے ہو مجھ سے”
سندیلا معظم کو نرم پڑتا دیکھ کر اس کے سینے سے سر ہٹاتی ہوئی پوچھنے لگی۔۔۔ پری معظم کی گود میں اپنی ماں اور باپ دونوں کو باتیں کرتا غور سے دیکھ رہی تھی
“یہ پوچھنے والی بات ہے آپ کو نہیں معلوم”
معظم اپنا ایک ہاتھ سندیلا کے گال پر رکھ کر گہری نگاہوں سے اس کا چہرا دیکھتا ہوا بولا تبھی سندیلا نے اس کی گود سے پری کو لے کر کارٹ میں بیھٹا دیا اور کارنر ٹیبل پر رکھا ہوا سوفٹ ٹوائے پری کے ہاتھ میں پکڑا دیا
“کیا کر رہی ہیں استاد جی ابھی مجھے اپنی گڑیا کے ساتھ وقت گزارنے دیں، آپ کو اپنے پیار کا ثبوت آج رات میں بھی دو گا ناں”
معظم کی بات سن کر سندیلا گھور کر اسے دیکھنے لگی
“فضول مت بولو، پری کو اس لیے بٹھایا ہے تاکہ تم میری بات غور سے سنو”
سندیلا نے معظم سے بولتے ہوئے اس کے دونوں ہاتھ تھام لئے جس پر معظم سنجیدہ ہو کر اس کے بولنے کا انتظار کرنے لگا
“معظم چھوڑ دو یہ کام، میری اور پری کی خاطر پلیز”
وہ معظم کی آنکھوں میں دیکھ کر فکرمند لہجے میں بولی جس پر معظم خاموشی سے سندیلا کو دیکھنے لگا پھر اس نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھ سندیلا کے ہاتھوں سے نکال کر اس کا چہرہ تھاما
