“مجھے پتا ہے کتنے شریف ہو باقی بچے بھی ہیں اس سٹریٹ میں لیکن تم لوگوں کو ہی کیوں ہر بار پھنسایا جاتا ہے،” داؤد صاحب نے ان کو جھاڑا۔
“ہم معصوم ہیں اس لیے لوگ فائدہ اٹھاتے ہیں،” ودی نے وجہ بیان کی۔
“اگر آپ کو پتا لگانا ہے کہ ہم کس مٹے سے بنے ہیں تو آپ ریسرچ کر لیں آخر کو سائنس دان جو ٹھہرے،” مینو نے بے پر کی اڑائی۔
“میرے پاس اتنا فضول وقت نہیں ہے جو تم لوگوں پر تحقیق کر کے ضائع کر دوں،” داؤد صاحب نے جواباً کہا۔
“تم لوگوں سے بس فضول گوئی کروا لو جتنی مرضی۔ جاؤ سو اب جا کر،” ماریہ بیگم نے ودی کا کان کھینچا۔

داؤد صاحب ان کے ساتھ کاؤچ پر آ بیٹھے تھے اور ان کے کندھے کے گرد ہاتھ پھیلا کر اپنے ساتھ لگایا تھا۔
“لوو برڈز میری آنکھوں پر ہاتھ ہے کیا میں آ کر اپنا ڈوری مون اٹھا لوں؟” مینو نے آنے کی اجازت چاہی تھی۔
داؤد صاحب اور ماریہ بیگم جلدی سے سیدھے ہوئے تھے۔
“کیری آن!” وہ ڈوری مون اٹھا کر بھاگی تھی۔
