Cyberpunk 2077 – What Else is Missing in Patch 1.5 Cyberpunk 2077

Cyberpunk 2077 released its next-gen update for PS5 and Xbox Series X this week, along with patch 1.5 which introduced new weapons, apartments, AI tweaks, and quality updates long-awaited life.

But it was also a bit of a reminder of how far Cyberpunk 2077 needed to go in the first place, and now that the dust has settled I think there are still some pretty clear gaps in what 1.5 seemed not to have added. the game as the foundation it needs.

Biggest Game Expansion Cyberpunk 2077:

The new game more, for me this is by far the biggest game expansion that should have come with patch 1.5 as it is the perfect time for gamers who have mastered the game on the latest generation consoles to upgrade their character with a new one that brings new levels of Game Plus gameplay: although NG + has been datamined in the past, it hasn’t appeared with this patch. It may still be on the way, but it was definitely time to launch it.

New Clothes / Clothing Preview / Transmog: I was disappointed to see that while there were new weapons, it seemed like there were no new outfits to purchase and players had to rely on modders for these. Not only that, but the game didn’t solve the extremely fundamental problem that you can’t see what the clothes are like before buying them, you have to save, buy, try on and then reload if you don’t like it.

Ultimately, even though some clothing has multiple slots, the game hasn’t implemented anything like a transmog system that players have been asking for from the start, allowing you to look the way you want while still being powerful.
Police AI: Although patch 1.5 occasionally staged hilarious police chases involving criminals as random events, there have been no improvements in player policing. The only thing add in this regard was that the player could hide to avoid the police and not seen. But they’ll never chase you back to cars that feel like the basics of GTA style.

Reactivating Crime:

One of the problems with returning to Cyberpunk with my “cleaned up” characters is that I really had nothing to do without New Game Plus. I was looking for a way to allow the game to reactivate street crime. So that I could have more consistent enemies to fight with and make money with, but it didn’t come with 1.5 so I’m killing random groups of 3-4 enemies at a time keep new to test this patch. It is terribly boring. They even destroyed the agricultural areas that I used to destroy, such as the base of the bandits in the desert.

New concerts: There simply aren’t any. There are technically new missions in this patch, but they are simply “Get your supplies from the artisans” or “Buy four new houses“. Again, part of the problem is that there’s nothing you can do. If you’ve already beat everything and we’re still waiting for some really new content (the upcoming expansion wasn’t mention at all in this latest livestream and its release date. output, the result is unknown).

Going through the new patch, these are the main missing things I noticed. That’s not to say it’s not a great patch it is. And if you’ve been avoiding cyberpunk so far, I recommend you try it now. But for someone like me, there isn’t much to rely on, given how many of these other things haven’t happened.
